I'm exploring the (premium) learning center and I've just discovered a great learning tool: the line-by-line audio! I'm a beginner and I'm just learning to read Hiragana so here's what I do: I adjust the size of the print larger (with "command-+" on my Mac--I'm not sure how you do it on a PC) that way the romaji bumps off the bottom of my screen and I'm not tempted to cheat (plus it's easier to read). Then I read each line of of the dialog in Hiragana. When I'm done I check my reading by clicking the audio for that line. It's actually kind of fun and my hiragana recognition is already much improved.
