でしょう、ですね、and でしょうね。

Hello everyone!
So first of all, what are the differences between でしょう and ですね? Like in いい天気ですね and いい天気でしょう. Don't they both mean "The weather's good, isn't it?"

And what happens when ね is added to でしょう？ How does it change?

There are two main reasons for using でしょう. One is if you want to indicate a little bit (but not a lot) of uncertainty, and the other is if you want to use a softer, less direct tone than です.

So, when it's translated as "isn't it?", you use でしょう when you're not 100% certain the other person will agree with you (but you think they probably will), while you use ですね when you fully expect the other person to agree.

でしょうね is functionally the same as ですね, but, as I said above, it has a softer, less direct tone.
