Flashcard pictuce/sound issue

after today maintaince, when i get a sound recognition flashcard, picture of the card shows up along with a sound and them it disapear and classic sound button shows up. I hope that is bug because i don't like it .

I think I'm having the same issue yoo. On 'Recognition' cards I don't get the sound icon, I only get the curly arrow that turns the card over. The sound plays once but then I can't play it again.

Also, if you have a deck that isn't due and you click the 'Review Early' button, it doesn't work. Instead, the same screen displays again.

well - that button shows up afteru you hover on image. i hope that this issue will be fixed soon .

On sound recognition cards if the sound doesn't play automatically there is no icon to make the sound play, only an arrow to make the card flip over. Please fix.

unfortunately, these type of card which had that problem dont play a sound anymore. So it is imposible to recognize a card until you flip it .

these problem is again with cards with picture and only if you have to recognize a card by sound(not all cards have that).

I'm not having this problem. Have you checked the settings for the deck? You can turn off the automatic audio in the settings, and sometimes it seesm to turn itself off (but you can turn it back again).

Hi,

I'm now experiencing a slightly different problem with sound and flashcards:

When I study the flashcards, click "view sample sentences" and then click on the "speaker" button in front of the Japanese version of an example sentence, nothing happens - there is no sound. When I click the "speaker" button in front of the English version of the sentences, I can hear them loud and clear. Also, when I open the example sentences from the vocabulary lists instead of from the flashcards, the Japanese sound can be played.

EDIT: I tried Firefox, Chrome and IE11, and at first, Firefox worked with some cards, but now it doesn't, while the other browsers all show the issue on every flashcard. In the meantime, I also contacted JapanesePod101 support about this.

Is there anybody else who experiences the same issues?

unfortunately that does not help. i cant hear sound even if i click on sound button. Same happends if i want to play sound of samples.

Similar issues to the above. Settings were changed automatically to show images (I normally have them turned off) and can not change on "study all". Last two days the cards are not playing audio - frustrating. Tried Chrome, FF and IE, plus on android phone.

I'm also having this issue--no audio for lots of cards that used to be functional. Only English audio was working at first for a couple of days, but today many cards have no audio. I tried clicking audio icons in edit mode, but they don't work there either. This only seems to be happening with Core Words and not with any of my other decks. Thanks Jpod for your assistance in this matter!

Currently the flashcards are working for me again - was doing some of the custom lists and tested a few of the core words - any got some sound. Just did a set of my combined word list and successful. After being restricted the past couple of days, only 840 "due now" cards

cards working properly for me too. thank you for fix
840 cards due now ?! - that sound like plan for a weekend .
