Small problems with I52

These are so small that I almost feel like I'm wasting your time by asking for help with them but I am obsessive about trying to understand everything in a lesson.

I'm sure I've seen this before but I can't find anything to verify it...

"Ni narimasu" is used with honorific verbs such as, "O-tabako wa o-sui-ni-narimasu ka?" However here it seems to be being used as "desu." Does "ni narimasu" mean "desu"? If not, what does it mean here?

本日、運転免許証やパスポートなどの身分証明書はお持ちですか？
Honjitsu, untenmenkyoshō ya pasupōto nado no mibunshōmeisho wa o-mochidesu ka?
Do you have a driver's license, passport, or some other type of ID with you today?

I know "untenmenkyo" is "driving licence" and I'm guessing that "untenmenkyoshō" is the driving licence as a piece of paper, the actual physical object?

I think it's being used to mean what it says: "will become". In the dialogue, the speaker says this and then explains that the other person needs to fill in the paperwork before going to counter number three. So it will be counter number three, but it isn't yet.

I'm pretty sure that's right: the last kanji, 証 (shou/akashi), is evidence, proof or certificate.

I think you should pay attention to sentence structures more.

1. はい、3番の 窓口 に なります
noun ni narimasu is same as “noun desu”

お煙草を　お　 すい　 に　なりますか。
　　　　Honorific 　verb stem　ni　narimasu is totally different from the sentence structure above.

2. As マイケルさん said that is 免許証 which looks like a card.
