Word missing in dictionary

Postby acassar1009 » November 28th, 2013 10:20 am

Hi there,

I completed this lesson today : http://www.japanesepod101.com/2009/08/03/all-about-5/ and one of the words was はい - as in yes, right, here you go.

I went to add to this word to my word bank and when I look up はい in the word bank dictionary, the definitions for はい state "lung" or "ash" but not yes, right or here you go.

Could someone take a look at this?

Thanks,

Adrian

Adrian-san,
thank you for your post!
You can find "はい" if you uncheck the "Only 20,000 most commonly-used" checkbox
In any way, the meaning of "lung" and "ash" are also correct: in hiragana, words for those meanings are also はい (both nouns).
Thank you for your patience!
