Which lesson should I be starting with?

Postby seamar017554 » November 10th, 2012 8:45 pm

I just joined today and I'm really not sure where I should be going.

I want to ask which of these lessons should I start with first? Absolute Beginner or Kantan Kana?

I would guess I should start writing the Hiragana symbols before I try actually speaking the language. I was hoping for some insight on this. Should I do both at the same time?

seamar0175540-san,
First of all, WELCOME!!!! :D

I recommend you to start conversation with Absolute Beginner, and also start learning writings with Kantan Kana.
Learning writings would take some time, so please take as much time as you need; there's no need for rush.
Because of this "taking quite a time", it'd be the best if you learn conversation at the same time! It'd definitely be more fun!
We also offer Lesson Notes (PDF), so you can use it to learn kana too.

Enjoy learning with us!
