What does o motte mean and how is it used in a sentence.

Some context might help. Do you mean 思って, the て form of 思う, to think?

電車は８時に出発すると思って、急がないと。。。
でんしゃははちじにしゅっぱつするとおもって、いそがないと。。。
the train at 8 o'clock leaves I think, if don't hurry...

Think of it as a fancy, formalish de particle with fewer uses. I'll steal a few examples:

拍手をもって二人を迎えましょう
hakushu wo motte futari wo mukaemashou.
身をもって体験することこそ、何より重要だ
mi wo motte taiken suru koto koso, nani yori juuyou da
今日をもって会社を辞めます。
kyou wo motte kaisha wo yamemasu
