Help understanding a Japanese phrase

Postby ccj647231 » November 20th, 2011 6:18 am

Hi,

I play baseball and last year we had a guy visiting from Japan join our team. I am learning Japanese to better understand him. One of the first things he said to us, threw us for a loop, because in English it sounds like he is saying "sheet fuk". Actually it sounds more like something else, but I couldn't write that! So can someone tell me in Romanji and Hiragana what he is saying and what it means? After hearing it a few times and going by his gestures, it appears that he is trying to tell us he wants to take 'infield practice', or 'fielding practice' but I am not sure and now I'm curious exactly what he is saying.
