i want to ask if there's anybody who ever tried to get MEXT scholarship and how all process is happening.

I applied for the MEXT scholarship last year and have got it successfully this July. I applied through Kyoto university. It s said that in some countries, you can apply for the scholarship directly from the japanese embassy in the country, maybe you can consult the japanese embassy in your coutry if you dont want to apply for it throught the japanese school that you want to go to for study.
