-te miru / -te mitai conjugation help

I am learning about the -te miru form of verbs. I understand that -te miru means ( Try to do X)

QUESTION: But what if I wanted to say for example the verb (suru= to do) in different tenses using -te miru form like in the following examples? :

(I filled out the ones I think I already know, please correct me if I am wrong.)

I try to do/ I will try to do = shite miru
I don't try to do / I won't try to do = shite minai <--Wrong?
I tried to do = shite mita <--I think this one is correct.
I didn't try to do = shite minakatta <--wrong?

* also what about the want to try form using -te mitai?

I want to try to do = shite mitai <--I think this one is right
I don't want to try to do = shite mitakunai <-is this correct?
I wanted to to try to do = shite mitakatta <--not sure 'bout this one....
I didn't want to try do = shite mitakunakatta <--not sure here either :/


ANOTHER QUESTION : miru is a group 2 verb but when you add the -tai suffix to it , it automaticaly becomes a class 1 verb and therefore is conjugated as one right?

The "miru" is the used the same way as the 見る(miru) meaning "see", except it's always written in hiragana. You're correct in all of these forms.

～たい(-tai) doesn't change the way the verb is conjugated.
