日本語コラム - A new column about Japanese

Hi there everyone!

I thought you might like to know about a new column that has just debuted on the JapanesePod101.com blog. It is written by a former Japanese teacher (as in 国語, teaching Japanese to Japanese students) for advanced students of Japanese. It's quite interesting and will really test your reading comprehension Hope you enjoy it!

Coolness. I'm really glad my vocabulary studies are paying off-- it's nearly 8 months of daily tedium, but I managed to do this sucker in one pass-- kudos to Hanabusa-sensei for the great article. For people reading at this level, it might actually encourage community participation (e.g. POSTING) by not having an English translation available. Just a thought. I look forward to seeing more!

ところで、「目が高い」と「目がいい」には違いがありますか。

I'd like to say I read it all first time, but I had to look up 定規, and then I realised I knew it from the word 三角定規, and was disappointed that I didn't remember
