no lessons in "browse all lessons"

Postby Jens » October 21st, 2008 10:28 pm

Hi,

Since one week I can't see any lessons in the "browse all lessons" page in the learning center. I tried different settings, removed cookies, changed browsers (firefox, opera,ie) but always no lessons. Apart from having no lessons, the page looks ok. Other pages also work. Could anyone check this?

Cheers,
Jens

Hi there,

I encountered the same problem. The All Lessons page and the Beginer Lesson S4 page were OK last week. But since yesterday, I could only see the newest post title and there is nothing under that.

This is the third week these problems have continued, isn't it?

I'm having the same problem. It seems that any page that would normally display one or more lessons will list only the top banner of the first lesson and nothing further - no description, no links to listen, and no other lessons.

It happens if I select a particular type of lesson (ie Beginner Season4). Or if I select a particular date (10/22/08). Or if I select the main page which normally would have today's lesson plus a bunch of the back lessons.

The only pages that work are ones where the top lesson that should appear is Oct 20 or earlier. So beginner season 3 works, lower intermediate season 2, news, etc. all work.

I'm using Explorer 7.0 in case that helps.

I think I'm having this problem too - and I wanted to comment after Naomi-Sensei asked listeners to drop by in the latest beginner lesson!

I have the same problem in IE7, but not in firefox.

Try a different browser.

No lessons displayed on site, available via iTunes

Postby RenRen » October 24th, 2008 1:42 am

I can see them on the calendar, and get them on iTunes (subscribed to the Podcast); but I cannot see them on them on JPod101.com using IE7 until the following week (i.e. This coming Monday I'll be able to see all of this week's lessons, but not Monday's lesson). It appears OK on FIrefox 2.0.0.6

Mina-san,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We've rolled out a fix and everything should be back to normal on IE6 & IE7.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and support.

Hi,

we made a small update which could fix the problem of no lessons showing up at all in the browser.

If you still have problems though please report them here, then we have to investigate again.

thanks!

Hi atomsk.
I think the present topic should be merged with this one.
As I said there, the problem is not yet solved.
