...more adjective conjugations: karo,kere,kare,sa

I've seen 優しい in the form 優しさ and don't really know how it translates.

Reading adjective conjugations here: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/安い

It says using さ means degree. So does 優しさ translate to: degree of kindness (noun)?

Also, I'm not familiar with karo, kere, kare conjugations for adjectives. First time seeing them.

I don't have much time right now, but for やさしい and やさしさ, the first means "kind/gentle" whereas the second means "kindness/gentleness." Similarly さむい is cold and さむさ is coldness, おいしい is delicious and おいしさ is deliciousness. Except in the form ければ, the rest of those forms are fairly uncommon.

Gotta go!

ありがとう

so やさしさ means kindness (noun)
さむさ means coldness (noun)

would this be correct usage:

その人のやさしさいいなぁ (where that person's kindness is the subject)

I think it would be more correct to say やさしさ高い or 優しさ多い; さ implies degree and not just quality.

I can understand やさしさ高い and 優しさ多い, but they are not correct Japanese.
