Need help in choosing a dictionary

Postby SywenArk » July 20th, 2008 12:06 pm

みなさん こんにちは

As subject. I am doing the "big step"... Okay. I would like to buy a dictionary. Not an electronic dictionary, but a normal, heavy, old-style, English<-->Japanese paper-dictionary.

I can't really decide.
I would like to buy one which should have
- radical index
- compounds

The way I want use it is:
- I would like to look for a kanji by its radical
- I don't want any romaji inside! Just kanas.
- Furigana would be very appreciated.

I saw the New Nelson but the customers reviews does not convince me at all.

Which dictionary are you using? Can you provide me a description?
If you have more than one, which is the best?

Help needed!
Thanks in advance
