how do you say "no spice" in japanese?

Postby LZhao91 » March 26th, 2008 10:20 pm

i recently started learning japanese so im still on the survival lessons, and i found it pointless to ask in comments..since no one has commented on those old podcasts for like 2 yrs?

i was listening to Lesson #9 of survival phrases and i wanted to know how to say "not spicy" when ordering food...could it be "spice nuki de onegai shimasu?"

thanks

You could say ''Karakunaide kudasai''
Karai means spicy
Karakunai means not spicy

However, I often find myself doing the opposite and asking for more spice :P
