Useful tip for the PDFs

Postby wmitchell » December 19th, 2007 10:20 am

Not sure if you guys find this but I certainly do but Adobe Acrobat Reader is soooooooo slow. I stumbled across Foxit Reader its a nice light weight pdf reader which will load in a fraction of the time that adobe takes and generally doesnt seem to kill your computer. Anyway check it out ..

yes it has
i use foxit reader for more than a year now
and last night i came across the first pdf (from the podcast) that i couldnt open
i randomly clicked a few pdfs and noticed a few more which i couldn't open

so foxit does have the same problem as acrobat 7
i stopped searching but today i also saw the nihon doojoo thread and i will try if acrobat 8 works for me tonight (or renaming the files)

or i could go check if my foxit is still up to date
maybe foxit will have had a patch since i last installed too...

i sure hope foxit gets a patch or already has been patched. because it does work alot faster than acrobat so it would be a pain to switch to acrobat again for this.
