ANIME IN JAPAN.

HEY ALL. FIRST I WANT TO SAY I LOVE JAPANESEPOD101. ANYWAY BACK TO MY REAL QUESTION. DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY CITIES IN JAPAN THAT IS BIG IN ANIME? I'M A BIG FAN AND I REALLY WANT TO GO TO A LOT OF ANIME TOURS AND OTHER RELATED STUFF. SO IF ANYONE KNOWS A THING OR TWO ABOUT ANY CITIES OR PLACES THAT I CAN VISIT THATS GREAT. THANKS.

i don't know about tours per se, but your first stop should definitely be 秋葉原 (akihabara) in tokyo.
it's like anime/manga/electronics heaven.

i live in 中野区 (nakano ward, in tokyo). i haven't seen any anime/manga related things there, but i've been told it's considered 子アキバ (little akihabara).

hello. i love japanesepod101, i am just a new trial member, and im planning to be a permanent member.. im also an anime lover. i plan to visit japan next year. the thing is, does anyone know when is the big anime gathering going to be? i want to schedule my visit around that time.
