How are you all, I couldnt find a n00b section lol. Anyways. i just wanted to talk about my Trip to Japan in Nov 06. i went for 2 weeks with my Best mate (we were only 18) and i myself had no idea on a single Japanese word tbh.
My friend knew a few 'basic' phrases to get by (Excuse me, Hello, Goodbye) that was about it. In the two weeks tho we managed and by the end i myself was starting to understand what the locals where saying but i obviously couldnt respond back.
In my short stay i went to the following places. Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Kyoto and Nara. It was amazing. Iam going back at the end of 2008 for a Working/Holiday Gpa year and my friend has family there so only just yesterday we were talking about going over in April for 2-3weeks. Oh by the way i live in Scotland UK ^^
