Job interview at a Japanese restaurant

Postby Charles » August 31st, 2007 2:04 am

A local Japanese restaurant is looking to train someone to make sushi. I sent my resume in noting that I'm conversational in Japanese and there may be some expectations if I'm interviewed by the owner. I feel confident about the normal stuff, but is there anything formal that doesn't work in a job interview?

For example, does yoroshiku onegaishimasu still have the same meaning? Context appears to be everything in Japanese.

Thank you for helping!

But yes, do say Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu if you are speaking in Japanese. If its all in English I would do English business formal. 空気読もうことだ Read the atmosphere and act accordingly.
