Online anime DVD shops?

Postby sarahg » February 11th, 2007 9:03 am

Minasan,

I've been thinking of buying the "Marmalade Boy" series on DVD since I liked the 6th generation copy I watched once at a friends place :)

I haven't found it here in Australia yet, and it's not on the big American sites like Amazon... is it on any Japanese web sites? Are there any online Japanese DVD stores that would be navigable by Japanese novices?

arigato,

I did a search for ママレード・ボーイ DVD, but it looks like the situation in Japan is the same as you've found over there. All the sites I checked either said 製造中止 (ceased production) or 完売 (sold out).

You could pick up a used copy from Amazon - http://tinyurl.com/3afhcf - If you're prepared to pay an inflated price.

I hope you can find it somewhere...

ありがとございます。 Amazon had it, although they're having trouble finding some of the boxes... I've got boxes 2 and 4 already but the estimated shipping date for boxes 1 and 3 keeps slipping further back. Oh well; I'm sure they can find it eventually.

arigato,

Could always try amazon.co.jp.
